UPDATE as of 10/11/25 Looks like this issue is specific for VENV, same setup on bare metal doesn't show up this particular problem. The fault is mine. Just testing beta version on bare metal seems to be time consuming Straight forward install Cosmic Beta DE ( via CachyOS flash drive ) on bare metal requires partition on NVMe SSD, otherwise , in my experience, fails to boot up. END UPDATE Actually, I was forced to install Hyprland with ML4W Dotfiles as second DE, otherwise in Cosmic Beta DE switching of folders contain wallpapers didn't work for me. Same behavior of Cosmic Beta DE shows up on any of Arch Linux Clones. |
